20 Random Amazon Favorites

My favorite thing about Amazon is that you can find any item you need to solve literally any first world problem around the house. Things you never knew existed can quickly become pivotal items to your daily life. And I have yet to meet a person that doesn’t love buying random gadgets on Amazon. So here is a roundup of 20 of my favorite purchases that have really come in handy!

#1 Rug Grippers: If you have any rugs in your home, you NEED these grippers. Keeps the corners from curling up and locks your rug in place without damaging your floors at all. You can easily peel up and re-stick these grippers multiple times and they do not lose their stickiness!

#2 Electric Toothbrush Head Replacements: I wish I would have known that replacement heads were so expensive before I got an electric toothbrush! But thankfully Amazon is amazing at making off brand dupes, and these brush heads work perfectly with the Philips Sonicare brushes we have. Search whatever brand of brush you have and I swear these off-brand replacements are identical to the real deal.

#3 Rechargeable Fabric Shaver: This little guy gets so much use, and I love that it is rechargeable and doesn’t use up regular batteries. It’s a real pet peeve of mine when fabrics pill. So I use this shaver on all of our linens, upholstery, and clothes and it works wonders!

#4 Candle Wax Warmer: Admittedly I am a candle addict, but I hate throwing candles away when there is still a good bit of wax left at the bottom. So this wax warmer allows you to use up that leftover wax! Just pour boiling water into your candle container and let the remaining wax rise to the top. Once it is cooled and hardened, you can cut the wax into smaller pieces and put them in this candle wax warmer. Just make sure to keep it in a safe spot to avoid spills! Plus it gives such a pretty glow of light.

#5 Portable Laptop Desk: Thanks to the new ‘work from home’ culture we are all spending a decent amount of time working from our beds and couches. This laptop desk has a stylish design with pockets on the front to keep all of your work items contained and easy to move from one spot to the next.

#6 Magnetic Bag Clips: We are all familiar with chip clips, but of course I wanted them to be *aesthetic*. I love the colors and design of these clips. Plus they have a magnet on the back so they can also be used to hang photos, notes, or mail on the fridge.

#7 Reusable Cotton Rounds: Reducing waste is always a win, and swapping out these reusable cotton rounds for the disposable ones is a great eco-friendly option. They come in a pack of 30 with 3 different textures of cotton for gentle cleaning or exfoliating. I use them to apply toner in my nighttime skincare routine. And they are super easy to collect in the mesh bag after use and then just throw in with the laundry!

#8 Jewelry Making Pliers Tools: I don’t actually make jewelry but these little tools have come in handy for many odd jobs around the house. The set is small and easy to store, and it comes with needle nose pliers, round nose pliers, and wire cutters.

#9 Jewelry Cleaner Stick: This cleaner is a best kept secret! Just use with warm water to lather up the cleaning solution and scrub your jewelry with the compact brush. Keeps your stones super sparkly between professional cleanings.

#10 Swiffer Reusable Mop Pads: Another eco-friendly swap! I love using these microfiber pads with my Swiffer WetJet. The pads are thick and can be used either wet or dry. Just throw them in the laundry and they come out perfectly clean every time.

#11 Silicone Rings: These cute rings are perfect for wearing to the gym or whenever I’m cleaning or working around the house to keep my diamond jewelry safe. I know everyone has these, but this set gives you some good color options.

#12 Starbucks Grande Insulated Tumbler: If you are a recovering Starbucks addict, then these are very helpful on the journey to making coffee drinks at home. Make your own coffee or tea in this Starbucks cup and you will feel just like you left the drive thru and dropped $6. You will rarely ever see me without one of these cups nearby. NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.

#13 Three Outlet Adapter: I use these all over the house in small places where you need extra outlets but don’t want a bulky extension cord. The design is great for behind furniture as well, just use the two outlets on the sides to keep them flush to the wall.

#14 Hard Cover Journal Notebook: I consider myself somewhat of a notebook connoisseur, and this one is GOOD. The sturdy cover feels very high quality and comes in many beautiful design options. And the paper is thick and very smooth with simple lines. 8×10 size with 250 pages to fill!

#15 Clear Crossbody Bag: Many stadiums, concerts, or events require a clear bag these days, so this little bag is great to have on hand. Don’t make the mistake of having to run back to the car or throw away (tears) a good purse at the door of an event!

#16 Barefoot Dreams Throw Blanket Dupe: You will probably see this blanket pop up in many other home decor posts, but I had to include it here in my favorites because its the best. The same soft, stretchy fabric as Barefoot Dreams but for a third of the price! It’s really a no-brainer.

#17 Rubbermaid FreshWorks Storage Containers: These are a game changer when it comes to keeping produce fresh for longer than 5 seconds. Fill them with any fruits or veggies and I swear they will last twice as long in your fridge. They are a little bulky but they come in multiple sizes to fit whatever space you have.

#18 Indoor/Outdoor Entryway Mats: These mats may not be cute, but they are extremely functional. I have them at every door in our house (especially through the winter) and they have saved my floors. The rough material does really well with scraping off shoes (or paws), but the dirt and junk doesn’t stick! They are super easy to vacuum, shake, or hose off.

#19 Cell Phone/Tablet Stand: This has been an underrated addition to my desk set up. I didn’t realize how often I would use it. Originally I got it for Zoom or Facetime calls, but its also great for watching Youtube or shows on your phone/tablet. I find myself using it just for a secure spot to set my phone when working at my desk so I can play music or easily see my notifications. It also matches the aesthetic of my iMac (I love it when things match).

#20 Remote Control Puck Lights: Lighting is arguably one of the most important factors to good interior design. And these handy puck lights are super easy to add anywhere around the house. I like them under kitchen cabinets, inside dark cabinets, in book shelves. Any dark small area that could use some extra light but isn’t hard wired. They come with a remote and can be dimmed or set on a timer so you don’t have to manually turn them on/off. Plus they run on AAA batteries and last for a pretty long time when using them conservatively.

If you made it to the end of this (long) list, congratulations! So which handy items are you ‘adding to cart’?
