Travel Size Beauty Must Haves

Travel Size Beauty Must Haves

All of your favorite beauty products and brands in travel sizes to keep your suitcase stocked! I have linked some of my favorite brands at varying price points for all of the staple items needed when traveling. If you are anything like me, you have slowly gotten to the point where you are too fancy to use generic brands of the travel sized items you find at the store. So I’ve got you covered! Check out the full shopping list on Amazon here (Remember, everything under 3oz if you are flying). And if you are in need of a full packing list for an upcoming trip, check out my Summer Getaways post and shopping list here!

Here is the list (because we love lists) of all the items to stock your bag:

  • Shampoo & Conditioner – My favorite brands are R+Co and MoroccanOil at the moment, they work well on my coarse wavy hair texture and they are made of quality ingredients but won’t break the bank. These little bottles of R+Co shampoo and conditioner will last a while in your travel bag, a little goes a long way.
  • Hair Products – My hair has become very high maintenance in the sense that, if I go just one wash without using product, I will notice a difference right away. So of course these products are going with me whenever I travel. My holy-grail must have brands lately have been Kenra and MoroccanOil, so I found the mini travel sizes of their hair mask, hair oil, blow dry spray, and volume hairspray. These small wet brushes are also adorable and fit nicely in a travel bag.
  • Body Wash – The two requirements for any good body wash are smell and moisture. These two from Hempz and Sol de Janeiro both have amazing scents and are incredibly hydrating on the skin. And for any male travel buddies, here is a great all-in-one wash with a handsome scent.
  • Feminine Wash – This is an easy one to neglect while traveling, but might be all the more important if you are out in the sun/sand/water. Gotta stay fresh ladies! These mini bottles of cleanser are discreet in the shower, and these cleansing cloths are easy to pack or keep in your purse.
  • Skincare – I like to minimize my skincare as much as possible when traveling for the sake of saving time and space in your bag, so just stick with the basics. A travel sized cleanser or makeup remover, toner, and a good moisturizer (with SPF preferably). Most serums already come in tiny expensive bottles, so grab your favorites from the bathroom if you can’t live without them.
  • Eye care – For any of my fellow contact wearers, these travel sized bottles of contact cleaning solution are super handy to keep in your bag or even in your every-day purse so you are always prepared! It comes with a lens case, so just grab your glasses and eye drops and you are set.
  • Lotion – This is a must every day at home, and even more so when traveling. I have these mini bottles stashed in pretty much every pocket or bag I own. My go-to drugstore brands are Hempz and Eos, or you can get real fancy with L’Occitane. If you are going somewhere warm and getting a lot of sun, I also love to use this body oil for that pretty glow.
  • Scents – If you want to leave your expensive perfumes at home while traveling, I highly recommend this body fragrance mist from Sol De Janeiro for the perfect beachy scent. Or the tried and true Victoria’s Secret body mists if you want to feel nostalgic about your younger years.
